Hello!
My name is Diana. In 2008, I fell in love with a film about sparkly vampires, forbidden love, and the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. In 2009, I went on my first trip to the Twilight celebration in Forks (then known as Stephenie Meyer Day/Bella’s Birthday).
On my way home, I got the idea for my first novel. Six months later, I had my first draft and realized I loved writing novels. Over the intervening years, I have attended the festival in Forks sixteen times and counting as of 2026. This has given me the enormous opportunity to meet many of the actors from the films as well as Stephenie Meyer and Catherine Hardwicke, the director of Twilight. Through those events, I learned a lot of Twilight trivia.
In 2017, I moved to Saint Helens, Oregon, with my husband and our many animal companions. In my daily life around town, I kept running into Twilighters visiting our town to see the shooting locations, which aren't always easy to find. As I walked them around and talked with them, they kept telling me, “You should do tours!”
In 2025, I did just that. I started by giving tours during the Spirit of Halloweentown celebration that Saint Helens holds for our other film claim to fame, Disney’s Halloweentown. I returned in October 2026 with an expanded calendar and was delighted by the enthusiastic response from visiting Twilight fans.
Now I have decided to give regular tours twice a month from November to September, while continuing two tours each weekend during Spirit of Halloweentown. I have added an FAQ below along with ongoing dates for the rest of 2026. I will add 2027 dates before the end of the year.
Tour FAQ
When Do Guided Tours Occur?
Tours run every Saturday and Sunday in October during Spirit of Halloweentown.
From November to September, tours are given twice a month. The schedule for the rest of 2026 is as follows:

Where does the tour start?
The tour begins in front of the Columbia Theater in historic downtown Saint Helens. Your tour guide, Diana, will meet you there.
How long is the tour?
The tour typically lasts between 45 and 60 minutes.
What is included in the tour?
The tour covers 9 stops with information and instructions to several others in the greater Portland area. It does not include the interior of the Swan House from the original film, but I will provide directions to the house so visitors can take photos from the sidewalk.
The tour also covers other tour locations in the greater Portland area and explains which ones are available and when, so if you’re traveling from outside the area and want to know what is available and accessible during a short trip, the tour covers that, too.
How much does the tour cost?
The guided tour is free! It is a labor of love created by a local resident and Twilight fan as a thank-you to other fans who take the time to visit Saint Helens.
I have mobility issues, but I am interested in your tour. How far is the tour? Is it wheelchair accessible?
The guided walking tour covers less than half a mile. The tour pace is adjustable, and each stop includes a few minutes of speaking, so there are breaks between stops.
Two stops are not easily wheelchair accessible. However, if I know someone is coming who needs wheelchair accommodations, I can offer an alternate route that lets me show you all the shooting locations, though it requires some backtracking and will make the tour slightly longer.

Will the tour be held in less favorable weather (e.g. rain, snow, extreme heat)?
It wouldn’t be very hoa hoa hoa of me to cancel for rain! Yes, if it rains, I’ll still hold the tour.
On days of extreme heat (95F+) or when snow or ice is present, we may reschedule for attendees' safety. Luckily, since I am local, I can check the tour area early on those days. If a tour is canceled or rescheduled, I will update this page at least an hour before the start time.
Do I need to register for your tour?
During Spirit of Halloweentown, no registration is required. From November through September, please email me no later than 24 hours before the tour so I know how many attendees to expect. You can still attend if you show up last minute, but because I may need to accommodate others' abilities, it helps to know who is coming. You can reach me at diana@dianarosengard.com.
I am coming to Saint Helens, but I won’t be there for one of the tours listed above. Is there any other way to get the tour?
Yes! Email diana@dianarosengard.com if you are coming with a group. If possible, I can work out a special tour time with you, provided I can fit it in around my work, family, and travel obligations.
